The first picture was after first wash and using hair products and second picture was right after the perm. My hair was super straight and not holding the perm solution well but the stylist was super nice and helped maked sure the curls came out right. I love how it came out and definitely recommend. Total was $350 and I was gifted a hair oil!!

I got a keratin treatment at SM Hair Studio, and the entire experience was wonderful. Booking my appointment over the phone was super easy (definitely call ahead, as it’s appointment-only and run by one stylist). From start to finish, she was quick, efficient, and very transparent about the process, timing, and pricing. Everything matched exactly what she told me on the phone - no surprises at all. She was so kind and welcoming, made pleasant conversation, and even shared her lunch with me, which really spoke to her warmth and hospitality. Her husband was also there, and they were both genuinely kind people who made the experience feel comfortable and personal. I was shocked to learn they’ve been open for eight years and I’d never heard of this salon before. I’ve been missing out. I’ll definitely be back.

My hair was seriously frizzy & damaged from previous hair colorings & I wanted a make over. I originally wanted a long digital perm, but was afraid my hair would not be in good condition to straighten and or even have an additional perm. Erika recommended that I trim off all the dead ends & build a good foundation for a magic straight. She was thorough & very knowledgeable with the whole process and did an excellent job with my hair. I am so happy with the end result and I am looking forward to spending less time on my hair every day. I am so glad we found S & M Salon on google search. I must have called a dozen salons and Erika & her husband really stood out b/c they were both so warm & welcoming & patient with all my questions. It was worth flying in from Ohio for the weekend just for my hair appointment. I highly recommend this dynamic duo for your hair needs!

I got so many complements on my cut and keratin treatment. I’m especially thankful for how my bangs turned out. I’ll definitely be coming back for future keratin treatments and trims ☺️ Editing review: 5 months later, my hair still looks so straight and shiny!! I love it. Best straight perm that I’ve received. It was Will worth the cost.

Had such a great time at SM! I have stick straight Asian hair and I went in for a digital perm so I don’t have to style it everyday. I usually curl my hair everyday and wanted to cut down on time when getting ready in the morning. I’ve never permed my hair before, but have colored it a few times (no bleach, only natural colors). The whole process took maybe 4 hours total since I have really long hair that’s also super straight, and it came out to $350 (not including the tip). It was expensive, but it was so worth it in my opinion, since I save so much time in the morning getting ready every day! My stylist was super kind and friendly and even cut up slices of oranges for me while waiting for the perm solution to kick in lol. She even gave me a pillow to rest my arms on when I was going on my phone in the chair. At first when I showed her my inspiration pics, she let me know that she wasn’t sure if she was able to get my desired result since my hair is really straight, but said she would try her best, and it turned out super well in the end! I did have to do several tests to see if my hair would hold up, but she was very relieved in the end when the wave pattern started showing. The picture shown is what it looks like after my first wash and after applying curl products to define the waves. It definitely looks better after you apply the right products and use a diffuser to dry. I was also afraid perming my hair would severely damage it since you're breaking the bonds in your hair, but my hair texture is still healthy!
